Hello moms and dads! My name is Stephanie and I was born and raised in sunny San Diego! I graduated from Christian High in my hometown, moved on to the College of Nursing at California Baptist University, and now have Bachelors degree in Science and Nursing and am a registered nurse. After moving to Houston in 2018 and starting my first position as an RN at a local hospital I decided to put my nursing career on pause and focus on being a mommy in 2021. I now have a 3-year-old and 10-month-old. Some fun facts about me are that I am a proponent of making healthy meals, I'm the biggest dog lover around, I limit screen time to twice a day for 15-20 min each (educational). I love spending time outdoors when the weather permits, and I enjoy the opportunity to encourage creativity and a desire for learning in all the little ones I meet including my own. What can I say about Stephanie other than WOW! I took a weekend job that required weekday classes for orientation so I needed someone with my 16 month old here and there for about a month. I will admit, I was VERY nervous seeking a caregiver because I had never left my little one with anyone other than my husband. Stephanie immediately put me at ease with her kind and nurturing spirit. I knew my son wouldn't just be 'watched' but would be CARED for while I was gone. She kept me updated throughout the day of their adventures and even sent me cute pictures of my little man. She took him to the park, the library and the playground. When the inevitable toddler bumps and bruises happened--like a skinned knee, Stephanie was quick to inform me and apply perfect and gentle first aid. She would be an ASSET to anyone looking for exceptional childcare. The only reason I double-thought about posting this is.....I want to keep her for myself!!!!! Yes, she's that amazing!!
