About Sophia

Hello!! Growing up as the second of five siblings in a big family, I became the go-to babysitter for my younger siblings, as well as their friends. From a young age I built a network of families throughout my siblings friends, where I found immense joy in fostering positive interactions and growth with kids! This early responsibility taught me patience, organization, and the ability to create a fun and safe environment for kids. Additionally, as a type-1 diabetic, I have babysat a ton of kids with pre-existing conditions, understanding the level of responsibility and care required. I graduated from the University of Michigan in 2022 (GO BLUE!) where I studied political science and communications and media and was lucky to travel for about 5 months after! I am currently working on a start-up that focuses on making local food more accessible! This makes for my schedule to be pretty flexible! I am born and raised on the westside of LA so I am familiar with he area too!
