After high school, I went to the English Nanny and Governess School in Chagrin Falls, OH, where I received my Certified Professional Nanny (CPN) degree and NCSA Newborn Care Specialist certificate. Some of the curriculum included Children's Literature, AAA driving course, Fire Safety and Rescue, Boat Safety, Child Psychology, American Red Cross Life Savings Techniques. I have had three professional jobs since graduating, all lasting over 3 years. I am skilled with any age, and any circumstance. In every nanny position I've had, I have incorporated being outdoors and teaching the children what I know and love about nature. In my free time, I love to see live music (especially orchestras) sing, read, rock climb and bike. I love all animals, am very clean, trustworthy and responsible.

Shawna is absolutely amazing. She’s babysat for me routinely while being in nursing school (covering very early mornings and long hours for me). She juggles 4 children plus pets with ease. She doesn’t just babysit either, she’s fully engaged with the kids doing fun things, she’s makes meals and does the dishes, picks up around the house, and makes it easy for me when I come home. The kids adore her too. I highly recommend Shawna for childcare.
