So a little about my professional experience - I've worked at a daycare located in Tucson for several years and family wise I played a major role in the upbringing of my younger siblings. All in all I have about 15 years experience with childcare. I have training and experience with newborn infants, children with special needs, and have CPR training as well as first aid training. I'm a naturally bubbly person and very high energy which is why I love spending time with kids. I have a pretty free schedule at the moment to help you and your family out! As you can see I don't have many references on Care. com as I am fairly new, but don't let that keep me from showing you that I am very capable of the best care! Shannon has been caring for our son since the beginning of Sept. when I returned to work full time (he was just under 6 months then). We love how engaged she is with him and how she dives into playing, reading, singing, and taking him for walks with energy. Shannon also takes initiative to help around the house with washing dishes (and bottles!), putting away laundry, etc. She has been very flexible with requests to change scheduled days/times for her to babysit. Shannon has been mindful/respectful of our requests around parenting philosophies while also teaching us some new things from her experience in this field. We feel so lucky to have Shannon care for our son and would highly recommend her to others who are looking for a nanny/babysitter!
