About Sarah

Hello! My name is Sarah and I have spent a total of 5 years working for the YMCA of Barry County. I was a camp counselor in a cabin of 10 campers for two summers. This includes providing for each camper's physical, emotional, and social needs. I filled the role of Health Services Director for 3 summers. In this position, I provided medical any attention needed and passed medication to campers. I spent a year working with ages k-5th grade. In this position, I was responsible for assisting with homework, snack preparation, and outdoor play. During this time I worked with birth-3 years in a separate childcare center. Here I was responsible for crafts, snacks, meals, diaper changes, and so much more. I spent a year working in the outdoor preschool program. Here I was in charge of lesson planning, snack preparation, and outdoor play. As a result of working with the YMCA, I have obtained my Red Cross Firstaid/AED/ CRP certification as well as my Red Cross lifeguarding certification.
