Hello! My name is Sarah. I've worked with children my whole life, starting out in an arts and crafts studio with children aged 5-16, to babysitting date nights to nannying for various families long term, 5 days a week. I've had experience managing 2 and 3 kids daily, prepping dinners and lunches, light house keeping, driving children to and from activities and helping with homework. As 1 of 4 kids in my own family- I am used to a little chaos! In my free time I love to read, explore new things with my friends and spend time outside. I'm currently a student at Illinois State University working towards my degree in Elementary Education.

Sarah nannied for our two kids (ages 3 and 1) for three months over the summer. She was great! Super reliable, good communication skills, and easy-going about what was needed from her each day. My 3-year old son and 1-year old daughter were big fans. Sarah took note of the kids' interests and played into those. She regularly took them on walks to the train station to watch trains go by, explored various local playgrounds, read books, had "dance parties" in the living room, and oversaw backyard kiddie pool time. Sarah also schlepped the kids from various activities, including accompanying my son in the pool for swim classes, and taking my daughter to a PT appointment one day with little notice. She just rolled with the punches. I wish we could keep Sarah longer, but she's headed back to school in the fall.
