About Sandrah

I have 8 years of experience supervising and teaching children. I have a classical dance background and have been a contemporary dancer for 18 years. I believe art is the universal language adults and children both understand. My experience in the performing arts has shaped the way I approach childcare, I believe we have a duty to nurture children to be their best selves. I use mindfulness and evidence based research to ensure each child's needs are met fully and holistically. Experience in school settings has helped me understand how to effectively educate and encourage children to be themselves and build confidence amongst their peers. Working with the org after school care camp has provided me with current tools and guidance to further develop the skills of working with many children at one time. I believe we can learn from children as much as teaching them. Children are creative, resilient and capable of amazing things, I am inspired each day! I don't smoke and drive my own car.
