About Rosa

Rosa has worked with our family as our incredible nanny for the last 6 years. She has known both of our children (T 9 and M 7) since they were born as her own mother was their nanny prior to Rosa joining us. Our children adore and love her beyond measure and we consider Rosa a member of our family. Through the years Rosa met her husband, got married and became pregnant herself. She would drive 2 hours every day in traffic to work with us (a total saint) and now that she has a new baby of her own, she is looking for a role closer to her home. Rosa is simply the best. She is a modern day, Mary Poppins. Very loving and extremely reliable and very responsible. She is always on time and an excellent driver. She cooks, cleans and would keep our house tidy, while giving both of our kids all her love and attention. She was also responsible for driving my kids to and from school (45 minutes away from our house) and always brought them to their after-school activities, sports and play dates. She never missed a concert or performance and would play one and one with each of them – whether it was barbies, kitchen, earning her own degree as a LEGO master, kicking the soccer ball, or shooting hoops. Rosa ensured they both received the attention they needed and were having fun. On their days off, she would plan fun activities, from arts and crafts to baking to sports in the park to Kids Empire. For birthdays, she would make homemade decorations and do elaborate balloon displays for each of them. At Christmas time, she was an elf – picking up presents we ordered and wrapping and hiding gifts all around the house. Rosa was truly our right hand and we are deeply thankful for her. My husband and I both travel for work and when we were both out of town, Rosa would step into our shoes, spend the night and handle the bedtime routine. As the kids grew up, their homework expanded and she began learning Singapore math, helping with site words, vision therapy and reading. During COVID , we were incredibly grateful for her willingness to move in with our family. She tried her hand at homeschool Zoom with our son who was 6 at the time. She not only learned Zoom and Seesaw, she always kept him on time - making sure his work was done and he was fed during snack and lunch breaks. Rosa is a kind, gentle and compassionate person. She also is incredibly patient, taught our children excellent manners and was very steady when disciplining both of them – which was very important to us. Today, we have incredible kids and Rosa’s influence is surely part of their footprint. She loved our children as if they were her own. We are deeply grateful to her and will always remain in touch. And of course, we plan on continuing to utilize her babysitting services whenever she is available.
