About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel and I am a lifelong Oklahoma resident, Sooner born and Sooner bred! Since my own childhood, I've had an aptitude and passion for childcare. My first job at 15 was for my Church daycare, caring for ages infant-5yrs old. I was a supervisor there for 7yrs, leaving with tons of experience and special bonds formed with families. Since then, I have been an Assistant Manager in the beauty industry for the past 6 1/2 yrs, gaining a background in management and communication skills. From 2019 to 2021, I was a Paraprofessional for the Deer Creek school district, caring for special needs kids ranging from mild/moderate to severe/profound needs. This job was SO fulfilling, but inadequate pay. I am incredibly excited to get back into childcare! I am passionate about encouraging education, creativity, and play.
