About Rachel

Hello! My name is Rachel and I have been working with children for 5 years. I graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2019 with a degree in English and Photography. Since then, I have worked at a daycare, youth center, and Montessori Elementary School. I started at a small daycare for a year working with infants to 12-year-olds. I then worked at the COA Youth & Family Center in Riverwest for 2 years working with infants to 8-year-olds. I then went on to work in a Montessori school for the past 2 years. I began as a Montessori teacher assistant in a multi-age classroom for 1st-3rd graders. I then started my Montessori teacher training and have spent the past year as a teacher in a 4th-6th grade classroom. I have extensive experience with children that have varying needs and learning differences. I am confident working with all children, and have always asserted that every child has a right to equitable care and education. I am looking to step out of the classroom and into something new!
