About Penny

I have been working with children aged 0-6 for 15+ years. Starting in England in a daycare, I gained my qualifications in Early Years Childhood Development. Following this, I worked as an au pair for 1. 5 years, before permanently moving to the USA and working as a nanny for the subsequent 9 years with multiple infants at a time, taking them through to school age. I prefer to begin my contracts with infants, helping parents navigate schedules and routines. As grow into toddlers, I apply my developmental knowledge to every day activities, ensuring children are educated and challenged while having fun. Targeting each child's individual needs. I also have a passion for kitten rescue! I am an orphaned neonatal kitten foster, my bottle-fed kittens usually accompany me to work - all while ensuring feeds don't encroach on the kids schedule. have found this to be a great way to teach empathy and care - the kids have loved being hands-on and helping out!
