About Patricia

Over the past nine years I've had extensive experience working directly with children 1-13 years of age through babysitting, teaching swim lessons, assisting in a school classrooms, & studying psychology & education. These experiences gave me incredible insight into childhood development & why it's so important to encourage creativity, kindness, exploration, compassion, & wonder in our young ones. I also worked as behavior technician at a children's autism center for a year. It was truly amazing to see my clients grow, learn, & become more independent as they developed important social, academic, & daily living skills. I have worked as a teaching assistant for the past 3 years & am earning my M. Ed. now to become an elementary school teacher! I am passionate about helping students reach their goals & achieve success. As a babysitter, I am fun, attentive, responsible, energetic, patient, & creative. I also love planning crafts, being outdoors, eating well, & staying active!
