About Natasha

I graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2015 with degrees in Social Work and Spanish. My relevant work experience includes the typical babysitting gigs for family, two years working for an after-school program in an elementary school where I was required to lead and teach groups of 25+ students, and multiple volunteer experiences working with youth ranging in ages from newborns to 15 years old. Currently I am working full time during the weekdays as an Americorps Member with a program called City Year. City Year aims to reduce the drop out rate in specific school districts. I work in a 5th grade classroom alongside a teacher to provide extra academic, social, and emotional support to students. Once the school day is over, we run an after-school program during which I am in charge of providing math/ELA support as well as behavioral guidance to 5 students. I am highly passionate about mentoring youth and child development, and I can't wait to work with your family!
