About Nancy

If you came across Nancy G. in your search for child care, consider yourself a lucky parent! We've known her for a few years, and in 2012 she became the primary caregiver to our daughter when she was 3 months old. A year later, another daughter was born and Nancy has since been overseeing the daily routine of both our girls, until early August. Nancy is kind, gentle, yet firm, with kids she looks after. She is very patient and never lets them out of her sight. She is also willing to climb at the playground and slide down with the kids! She cooks delicious treats (my girls' favorite was her quesadilla) and she never considers idle time as a break. If the kids are asleep, she is mopping the floor or organizing cabinets. She is a joy to have around, super trustworthy and she genuinely cares for children. After all, she has 4 great children of her own and has a lot of experience to know that even though a phase shall pass, what remains are the great memories of laughter and joy. She has been much more than a nanny for our family. Always ready to go the extra mile, Nancy came to our rescue a few times in the middle of the night when we had emergencies. Without a blink, she would show up and ensure we had the support we needed as we were dealing with a sick child or an ailing adult that required a visit to the ER. We have no family in LA, and Nancy acted as if she was our family. With our recent relocation to Pennsylvania, she helped us along the way, including a couple of trips here to support our transition. My daughters love and respect her, and she was a great influence on them.
