About Monica

Growing up being the second oldest of 8 siblings has really shaped me into the person that I am today! I've developed a mother-like instinct that plays a roll in how delicate and attentive I can be when caring after the youth. I have dealt with children and individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, on the spectrum etc. I have a younger sibling with autism and growing up, it has taught me a lot. The most important thing I've learned is that, not everyone will fit "societal norms", but that doesn't mean that they should be treated any differently from their peers. I make it my duty to care for, and make those in my care feel as safe as possible, while assuring them that no matter what, they are accepted and welcomed!
