About Miranda

Hi, my name is Miranda and I am very comfortable with taking care of children of all ages. I graduated with my biology degree from UNCW. I am CPR and first aid certified. I have over 5 years experience working in a daycare center with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. I was a NC-PreK Assistant teacher for 3 years. I have taken courses in early childhood development as well as child and adolescent psychology. I am currently applying to graduate school for Art Therapy and Counseling and taking art courses at ECU to fulfill some requirements. I am looking for a part time position and would be free in the afternoons and some weekends. During breaks in the school year, I would be available for more time if needed. I love art and sharing that with children. I have a passion for teaching children to use art as a way to explore the world and express themselves.
