About Mikayla

Hi! I'm Mikayla! I have been in early childhood ed for going on 12 years. I am MN lead teacher licensed and have worked with infants in centers for years. I additionally have 2+ yrs of Montessori experience at the toddler and preK level as well as certified training on the child's development from birth-3 yrs. I transitioned to nannying 3 yrs ago. Some of my specific experience includes: sleep training, newborn overnight care, schedule implementation, potty training - including infant, tracking developmental milestones, neck stretches for torticollis, helmet wearing, hemangiomas, type 1 diabetes, baby-led weaning, and independence based learning. I have also worked with: behavioral challenges, sensory processing disorders, emotional regulatory challenges, oral aversions, speech delays - including complete nonverbal, gross motor delays, ASD, and ADHD. I have experience with multiples, including triplet toddlers, and caring for multiple age groups simultaneously.
