About Mia

I am an elementary school (1st and 3rd grade) teacher looking for extra work to fill my summer break! I have over 10 years of babysitting, nannying, and teaching experience. I can provide tutoring services as well! I'd describe my personality as caring, flexible, and fun! I like working with kids because I love to support children in finding their hobbies and building character traits and life skills. I'm looking for a job that is transparent with the needs of their children and provides opportunities for adventure, play, and crafts. I started working with kids when I started babysitting and volunteering at the children's ministry at my church. I continued this work while I was in college pursuing a teaching credential. Since then, I have earned two master's degrees in teaching, which is what I love to do most! My skills include communication, discernment to make wise and safe decisions fast, and providing enriching activities for children to learn and grow in.
