About Melissa

Aloha, my name is Melissa. I'm 37 and a mother of two boys, ages 13 and 15. Caring for children started at a very young age for me. I have 20 nieces and nephews and played a prominent role in their care and upbringing. During this time, I learned so much about how to safely & effectively care for children of all ages. I left healthcare in 2022 due to the many overtime hours required during this pandemic. Over my 10-year span as a Medical Assistant, I had the opportunity to work closely with multiple specialties, including pediatrics. I hold a current National Certification as an MA, first aid, and pediatric CPR certified. Before my employment, I was a nanny working with dual-military families for six years, and I returned after leaving healthcare. I've had eight nanny families and 14 nanny babies ranging from ages five days to years old.
