About Melissa

I have had many, many years of babysitting and nannying experience with children aged infant to 10 years old. Additionally I have worked in daycares, I've substitute taught at elementary schools in the Fall River district, and served as a 2nd grade paraprofessional for a short time. I have taken several early childhood and child psychology courses. Also, for the past 2. 5 years I have been a full-time step-parent to a young child who was 4 when I met her, now almost 7. I believe that children do best with structure and support. Let them be kids and explore and grow on their own, while being their bumpers to keep them on the straight and narrow. I am a great cook, I love to read too & with kids, I am excellent with homework assistance and providing crafts and activities to keep children stimulated and occupied.
