About Melissa

Hi! my name is Melissa. I am energetic, hard working and I am experienced in all facets of childcare. I have babysat for many families ranging in age from 0 to 12 years. Responsibilities have included light laundry, cooking, house keeping and outings. I've worked in childcare for over 14 years both as a head teacher and site director of two childcare centers. My responsibilities have included creating curriculum/activities, encouraging children to push their limits, and creating bonds with families and children I cared for. I really enjoy helping children learn. I love being outdoors, swimming, reading, and doing all kinds of art (painting, dancing, crafting...). I also enjoy trying to play the piano and trying to learn Spanish.
