About Melissa

I currently work full time in retail, so I'm looking to do reoccurring or one time jobs. I have a lot of experience with kids of all different ages and a bunch of different situations. I started in childcare when I was 12 by working in my church nursery and babysitting my godson, and then throughout high school I was an after school nanny. I was also in a program in high school called the Renton Teaching Academy, which allowed me to intern in elementary and middle school classrooms, which provided me with a lot more insight on how care differs between different aged kids. After I graduated high school, I worked as a full time nanny to a 6-month-old little girl and I was with that same family for three years. That situation ended mutually, as the parents wanted her to get some more socialization and I wanted to transition into a taxed position. But now, I'm predominantly looking to pickup date night jobs.
