Influencing future generations feels like my purpose on this beautiful planet we share. I incorporate a large variety of nature play and education. Animals, plants, hikes/trail walks, bugs, and outdoor play as much as we can! I highly value self care and respect. I share my learnings of deep breathing, yoga, self care, and using nature to ground and connect. Art and music are also aspects that are very close to my heart, and a big piece of my teachings. Self expression is so important and should be cherished in young people. I am an artist. I paint, make small statues, puppets, and anything else I want to try! I have a variety of instruments I like to share, including, ukulele, Navajo flute, tongue drum, etc. I hope this is a good start to get to know me!

We loved having Mel as our nanny! She is 100% reliable, safe and respectful of our family's style. But most importantly, she is so loving, creative, and fun with the kids. My child LOVES her and feels completely comfortable with her...and so do I. I looked forward to the days when she worked, because I knew my child would have another loving presence who was bringing a lot of energy and fun and her world. We wish Mel could stay on forever, but it was the right time for my child to transition into daycare. I can't recommend Mel highly enough - she became part of our family and she always will be. She kept my child safe, learning, and joyful.
