I am a retired (October 2017) school psychologist and mother of 4 successful adults (including twins), as well as MiMi to 3 little ones who do not live in the area. I have been nannying part time since my retirement. At this time I'm able to be a back up/short term provider. I plan to start traveling more in order to spend time with my grand babies and therefore, can not make a long term commitment. However if you need an occasional break or your nanny needs a little time off, I would be happy to step in. I am active and would love to take your child(ren) on walks around your neighborhood, or to the parks, discovery center, zoo, movies, shopping, etc. I am very clean and have no problem picking up after your children and/or doing their laundry. If you have school aged children, I am happy to get them off to school and act as your emergency contact as well. Melanie is an amazing person and nanny. Melanie worked for us for two years. She loves her work and was flexible as new children and pets were added to the family. She was always early, and frequently available for last minute schedule changes, as my work schedule can be unpredictable at times. I always felt comfortable having Melanie watch the kids, and she was very thorough with daily notes. She ensured both their safety but also their enrichment, and I am grateful for all the effort she put into their care.
