About Maya

I am privileged to have over 8 years of experience working as a nanny for some wonderful families with infants and children up to 7 years of age. With them I've enjoyed time outdoors on a daily basis and loved teaching them arts and crafts, delighted in helping them reach important developmental milestones, taught them sign language along with verbal skills, worked on potty training, helped with homework, and created lesson plans for educational time with the 3-4-year-old children. I constantly ensured that the homes were picked up and the dishes done before the parents arrived home in the evening allowing them more valuable time with their kids. I am very knowledgeable about nutrition and food allergies and was just accepted into the bachelor of science in nutrition program at the natropathic medicine university in Portland.
