About Mary

I am an Empty Nesting Mom, of 3 grown kids, interested in helping other families with their childcare needs. My greatest joy is spending time with my two nieces, aged 7 and 18 months. I have a degree in Music Education and taught elementary school music for several years out of college. I have worked a variety of part time jobs but have mostly been a stay at home Mom while my husband made a career as a Naval Officer. I enjoy gardening, boating and spending time with family. I'm happy to drive, cook, teach, and play with your children to give you the time you need to focus on your own tasks! I'm a dog and fish lover, but don't mind cats either. I am able to do lighthousekeeping and errands as time allows. I travel as much as I am able, so am not appropriate as a primary caregiver. However, I'm an excellent fit as a back up babysitter or part of a caregiving team. I'm often available on short notice. I'm organized with my schedule and would love to help your family as I'm able.
