About Marissa

I'd describe my personality as responsible, reliable, and optimistic. I like working with kids because I always learn something new from them and they always have the best outlooks on life. I'm looking for a job where I am able to have a positive impact on the children and families I am working with. I started working with kids when I worked for a daycare while attending App State. I have also taught Elementary Education for the past 4 years. In my spare time, I like spending time with my family, walking my dogs, hiking, camping, and just being outside in general. One thing you should know about me is I am super reliable. My skills include teaching/tutoring, helping children be the best they can be, and building positive relationships with children and their families.
