About Maria

Hello there! My name is Maria. I am an aspiring dietitian(RD) that loves to teach young children & their families about incorporating healthy habits into their lifestyle. I am family oriented and love kids. Prior to my BS degree in nutrition, I pursed a degree in Child Development in which I learned about the importance of developmental milestones and communication with young children. I have 4 years of experience with infants and toddlers specifically ages 3 months - 5 years old which includes baby-led weaning, sleep training, exposure to sights/senses, tummy time, music/dancing, reading, taking walks to the park, etc. I also help out with laundry, dishes, and light housekeeping as needed. I am pet-friendly and don't mind pets in the home (all breeds). I have my own transportation and am fully vaccinated (Covid and flu).
