About Makenzie

Hello! My name is Makenzie and I am a stay at home mama to a 3-year-old boy. I am level-headed, gentle, responsive, child-led, and a very present/hands on parent who believes in gentle parenting and a lot of Montessori practices. In addition to my experience as a mother, I have babysat and adored children most of my life. Professionally, I have one year of experience with two families I provide care for. My preferred age group would be the toddler range, but I am comfortable and experienced in caring for children of any age. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-oriented, creative space to grow in. I enjoy all kinds of seasonal crafts, pretend play, reading stories, and supporting/nurturing confidence and independence in small humans. I am firm, but kind and I believe in natural or directly correlated consequences and getting to the root of why issues/behaviors are arising. I look forward to talking with you!
