About Maile

Aloha! My name is Maile, and I'm a passionate caregiver with a bachelor's degree in Art History. Hailing from Kailua and growing up in a bustling household with 5 kids, including 3 younger siblings --twins who are 7 years my junior and a brother who is 15 years younger --- I've been steeped in the joys of nurturing and caregiving since a young age. Helping to raise my younger brother has been a wonderful journey that has solidified my love for child care. With babysitting experience since I was 13, 5 years of as a nanny, and an additional 8 months as an extended day kindergarten teacher, I bring a wealth of hands-on expertise in fostering a nurturing and creative environment for children. My approach to childcare is enriched by my love for arts and crafts, a passion for reading, a knack for introducing children to music, and an enthusiasm for keeping kids active and engaged.
