About Maggie

***available for summer 2024 starting mid-June, looking for 1-2 days per week, max 20 hours*** Hi! My name is Maggie and I am a high school Social Studies & English teacher. My husband and I are moving to Burlington for his orthopedic surgery residency, and we've been living in the Upper Valley during both our undergraduate degrees at Dartmouth, and he is graduating from medical school there this spring. I have immense babysitting experience ranging from children ages 2 weeks - 12 years and up to 5 children at a time, as well as overnight experience where I have been on my own with 3 kids for up to 4 days at a time by myself. I am a proactive, punctual, responsible, and organized person. As a teacher, I am also happy to provide tutoring or enrichment services. My most extensive experiences are with students in grades K-2, specifically with literacy. I am certified in K-12 Special Education. References are available upon request.
