I have 35+ years experience caring for children. I have a child development Associate and I'm a certified head teacher in the State of CT. I am CPR/First Aid certified. I have my medication certification and am experienced with breathing treatments, EpiPen, etc. Having been in charge of up to 50 employees in a child care setting for over 30 years, I know how important reliability, patience, nurturing and respect are. My rate may be on the high side but I promise, you get what you pay for. I'm familiar with infant, toddler, preschool curriculum and my belief is: busy children are happy children. Children learn through play. I am utilized as back up childcare. When your children are ill or when their daycare is closed. I have many clients I provide this service for on a per diem basis. Most are in health care industry and can't take a day off work every time their child has a cold or their center is closed. I can be an integral part of your lives on an as needed basis
