I just moved to Florida from New Jersey and I'm looking for a family to help a couple days a week. I am currently a certified teacher for k-5. Since I graduated, I have been a teacher's aide in a pre-k classroom, a nanny for a 1 and 5-year-old through college, a head preschool teacher for 3 years, and most recently a nanny to a family where the child was 3 months when I started and 3 when I left. During my time with the last child I nannied, I had a monthly schedule that I planned with the parents. Everyday was planned with something different: library, play groups, swimming (swim class and at the lake/pool), arts and crafts on a rainy day, and so on. I love being active and having the child be as engaged as possible. Thank you for looking at my profile!

Liz is awesome! She watched my baby last year when I was finishing out a contract job. My son was about three months old when she started, and he was about six/seven months old when my job ended, so she watch him for about four months. He LOVED her so much and was so happy to see her every morning. She is very high-energy, sweet, and really cares about the kids. My son is also high-energy so they were a good pair. He was also a big challenge sleeper, and she was really patient and creative in finding ways to help him take naps. A lot of times that meant just holding him while he slept, and I will be eternally grateful for that level of love and care. She would also engage him in age-appropriate activities to help his development. In summary, Liz was great, and we loved her. And I would absolutely hire her again in a heartbeat if she were available.
