About Laurie

Hello, my name is Laurie. I'm an energetic, fun-loving mother of two grown children who has a great deal of experience taking care of young children. I graduated from Michigan State University and have an MBA. As an elementary school classroom volunteer, I helped students with their reading and facilitated an extracurricular math program. I taught religious education for 8 years to 1st thru 8th graders and have volunteered at numerous Bible Camps. I'm patient, an active listener and find humor in situations. I enjoy the outdoors, doing crafts and helping with homework. Ideally, I am looking for a part time position, perhaps a few days per week, but I am flexible. I can provide references upon request. I would love the opportunity to meet you and get to know your children.
