About Lauren

I am an educator with several years of experience, and have an MEd in Adult Education and a BA in Elementary Education. I have experience tutoring all grades from pre-K through 12, and with a variety of special needs. Subjects I have tutored include algebra, geometry, reading, writing, biology, history, English as a second language, and art. I am a positive, patient, and observant instructor with a knack for tailoring my methods to each student I work with. My goal with every student is to not just teach them subject matter, but to teach them academic and life skills that will help them become curious and independent learners.
