About Lauren

Hi, my name is Lauren! I am 22 years old and a mom to my 3-year-old daughter. I am currently going to Kankakee Community College to complete my associates degree. I have previously worked at a daycare from the age of 16-19 and absolutely loved it. Shortly after I turned 19 I had my daughter and decided to take a job that allowed me to be home with her more. I was offered a position by a family member to be a personal support worker. I drove a woman with special needs to and from work, to appointments and grocery shopping daily. She ended up deciding to join a 24/7 facility to care for her so I am now looking for a job to care for children, similar to what I did working at the daycare. My daughter and I love being outside! We take lots of walks and trips to the parks. I enjoy doing crafts and dancing to music with her as well. I'm looking forward to caring for children again, it's genuinely something I love!
