About Larissa

I've worked with kids both inside and outside of the classroom for 8 years. I started volunteering with afterschool programs when I was 18 and moved into tutoring and mentoring programs. I've completed student teaching for high school and am currently a long term substitute at a middle school. Every summer I work as a camp director at the YMCA. I've also been a P. E coach for elementary kids for 2 years. Most of my experience is with children ages 3-14 primarily. I have completed all the coursework to be a certified teacher from child development to language acquisition and a concentration in English for post secondary education. I am currently CPR and First Aid certified. I am fully vaccinated. I enjoy working with children and am comfortable supervising multiple children. I have a lot of management experience being a teacher and I am very adaptable and creative.
