I am the mother of three wonderful kids who are now adults! My hobbies include sewing, reading and classic movies. I am positive and upbeat but I also like just sit and have a good chat. I have been providing daytime childcare in my home periodically for the last several years but now I am transitioning to evening childcare in the client's home. I am your date night and evening activity babysitter! I have set my availability to evenings but I can be available during the daytime on occasion. I practiced attachment parenting and baby wearing with my own little ones and I love babies. Babies through age 3 are my favorite ages. I also love teaching kids to read so if you have a pre/new reader I'd love to help out. Activities that I enjoy with children are reading, singing, building blocks, and dolls. I live in the Bethany area of NW Portland and would prefer to stay in the Westside/Beaverton/Hillsboro area. I don't mind pets, I love kitties & can be friends with well behaved, small pups.

We were brand new parents, and we hired Kylene as our son's nanny. She immediately put me at ease when we met: you could immediately tell she was nurturing, kind and fun. My son grew up spending time with her during his beginning years and he still is so happy whenever he sees her. She is a caretaker with the upmost integrity, and she was amazing keeping up with our requested routines, managing our son's allergies, and creating a space that our son felt at home in. We highly recommend Kylene for any form of childcare and we still enjoy seeing her from time to time!
