About Kyla

I've been looking after little ones for over 13 years - have worked as a babysitter, nanny, Au Pair abroad, and in professional childcare. I have engaged with children of varied ages, backgrounds, languages and needs. Each has been a unique joy and have all taught me remarkably valuable lessons. I personally love making outside-exploring and arts & crafts a focus of the precious time I get to share with any child. I hold a MA in Medieval Art History and have a passion for drawing. Thus, I love encouraging little ones to investigate their world and creatively capture their findings. Music also inevitably works its way into time spent with kids. As does baking, story time, science projects, fort-building, museum visits (an absolute MUST seeing as how I work at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science!), and of course too many belly-laughs to count! Simply put, I love kiddos and having meaningful, memory-making fun is my ultimate goal! ~Kyla
