About Kristina

I have 6+ years of experience working with children in school, home, and after school program settings. My career with children began at an after school program and enrichment center, a non-profit organization. Activities I ran and taught there include fine arts, leadership, STEM, and tutoring. For the last 3 years, I have been working with children who have special needs (ASD, ADHD, Down syndrome). I have been providing behavioral therapy in homes and 1:1 school settings. This requires lots of critical thinking, patience, and navigating through challenging behaviors. Its also taught me how to break down and teach both basic and complex skills to children. I am CPR and CPI certified, have reliable transportation and a passport (for travel). My hobbies include painting, hiking, crafts, baking, cooking, and spending time with my dogs.
