I was a trained substitute teacher for the Harrisonburg City Public School system in Virginia for 3 years in college, as well. After graduating from JMU, I worked full time in investment banking but kept my passion for early development by volunteering with Stafford County Public Schools. Soon I realized I much preferred working in early childhood development and decided to return to my passion full time.
