About Keri

My first job in high school was working as a camp counselor for pre K-6 grade children at a daycare camp. It was the best first job anyone could have! I fell in love with being around kids and helping them with their homework, playing games with them, encouraging them to create, and making sure they had a nutritious snack that would keep them engaged in their daily activities. I continued babysitting throughout high school, as well as when I attended the University of Southern California. During my sophomore year in college, I was introduced to an Academy of Arts, where I worked as a K-1 grade teaching assistant for an introductory art class. The summer after I graduated, I became a first grade teacher for the same introductory art class. Over the years, I have worked as a nanny or babysitter for several families with children ranging from 3 months - 12 years. Over the past year, I cared for a wonderful 2-year-old little boy (started with him at age 14 months) and most recently, his newborn baby sister. I absolutely love children of all ages and find tremendous joy in helping them learn and grow.
