About Kendra

I like working with kids because I used to be one not long ago and loved all the learning curves that came with growing up. I love to be a role model and lead, or teach, others. Besides relatives, I started working with kids when I was 14. I've babysat for families through sitting apps throughout this year especially. I have five younger brothers and younger relatives. In my spare time, I like to watch movies, paint, swim, play volleyball and tennis, bowl and spend time with friends & family. One thing you should know about me is I have experience with kids on the spectrum. My brother has Autism, and I've worked with students one-on-one through a peer-to-peer program in high school. My skills include having fun and making sure the day(s) run(s) smoothly, light housework throughout the day (such as: dishes, laundry, sweeping, cleaning spills and messes, changing clothes/diapers and potty training, etc. and being CPR/first aide certified with years of child care experience!
