About Katie

Hello! I'm looking for a family in need of summer care. I will be starting Grad school on August 19th. I have specialized in working with young children newborn to age 6. I have a bachelors degree from Utah State University, specializing in Communication Disorders. I currently work as a speech-language pathology assistant. I also have a bachelors degree from Washington State University, which focused in early childhood development. For the past 10 years I have worked with children as preschool teacher (3 years), nannying in home for families, online teaching, and a short time with a high school special education classroom. I volunteered in the Peace Corps for two years teaching young children in Grenada. I look forward to working with you and your child(ren) in a fun, caring and purposeful learning environment!
