. My experience as a caregiver started 5 years ago when I was hired to help a senior lady with a terminal illness and early stage of alzheimer, I worked with her for 3 years until she passed away. A few weeks later I got my second as a caregiver with another senior who was recovering from a knee surgery and had other medical conditions, I worked with him for almost 2 years until he moved to his daughters house. Even though this is not what I have done in the past(have been a waitress for more than 20 years) I felt that this was what I like to do and it fills my heart with happiness when I can help people especially those who are vulnerable. Im first aid, CPR, AED and caregiver certified. Honestly I have never worked as a Nanny but I have raised two children (28 and 21 years old) and I know the care and responsability that is required.
