Hello. My name is Kathy and I love working with children. I raised 4 boys of my own and until recently worked in a preschool teaching and caring for children ages 2-5. I was at the preschool for 14 years and thoroughly enjoyed helping the children learn academically and grow emotionally and socially. I began that job right after my youngest son went to kindergarten and I did so because I wanted the children who were just starting their school years to have someone who would care about them and make them feel safe and secure and confident to leave their parents in the morning. When my children went to preschool , there were very few teachers or staff that took the time to treat the children with love and understanding and patience. I wanted to be one of the few teachers who did have those qualities. I feel very fortunate that I am blessed with those qualities. I have always treated and cared for the children in my care as I would treat my own children.

I am privileged to employ Kathy S. as my son's nanny. She has been an integral part of our life and I don't know what I would've done without her. Kathy has been a reliable, fun, loving and hard working full-time nanny for my 3 year old son. She has been caring for my son since he was a few months old and during which I have gotten to know her quite well. I trust Kathy completely. She shows nothing but patience and understanding around us which I know is tough to do at times but she has done it with grace and love for which we are forever grateful for that. Kathy has an amazing understanding of the needs and abilities of children and is warm, nurturing and responsive to my son. She has always brought a professional, thoughtful, organized and expert approach to the care of my son and is always available at the drop of dime if I ever needed her unexpectedly. I would strongly recommend Kathy for a nanny position as any family would be lucky to have her on board.
