About Kathryn

Caring for and teaching children has been my lifelong career. I have enjoyed being a nanny and babysitter for infant through 12-year-old children. As a nanny for a child from 6 months to age 3. 5. I was responsible for all aspects of childcare including preparing meals, laundry, light cleaning, shopping, errands, outings and transportation. I also assisted with household management needs, pet care and party preparations. Recently, I was a nanny for three children 2, 4 and 6 years old. Responsibilities included preparing snacks and meals, homework help and light housekeeping. I also provided care for date nights. I especially enjoy planning fun and educational activities. It was also a pleasure to babysit many children in my home and in theirs. I was certified as an elementary school teacher for 35 years and achieved Highly Qualified Teacher Status. It was wonderful to teach preschool through grade six and be a school librarian. I also taught Christian School and Sunday School.
