About Kathryn

Hi, I'm Katie! I'm a high school counselor looking for a part-time babysitting job. I'd describe my personality as outgoing, warm, and fun. I like working with kids because I have a true passion for helping kids grow - academically, mentally, and emotionally. I believe that a child's emotional intelligence and academic intelligence go hand-in-hand and I enjoy helping them learn and grow in both aspects. I started working with kids when I was 14 years old, babysitting children in my neighborhood, and have experience with part-time babysitting, full-time nannying, to now working as a high school counselor. My skills include a wealth of knowledge when it comes to child development, light housekeeping to make sure you come home to a tidy house, and a friendly and warm personality that helps make your child(ren) feel comfortable and safe with me.
