About Kathryn

Hello. My name is Katie. I am a 36-year-old mother of 2 (4-year-old boy and a 9-year-old girl), have had over 15 years experience working with children. Not only do I have 24/7 hours of experience with my own children, but I have worked as a babysitter/nanny for most of those years. I tutored for six months for an 8-year-old girl in math, helping her go from a D to a B. I was a camp counselor for two years, and a daycare worker for over 7 years. I have had experience with children from ages newborn to 13 years. I have recently begun working with Racine Unified School District as a Substitute teacher, and have worked 3rd, 6th, and 7th-grade classes long-term. The experience has been challenging, and super rewarding. I miss all my previous students! I am currently on Summer Break and looking to help a family in need for childcare.
