About Katherine

Hi there! My name is Katherine M. and just graduated from UCSB with a degree in Psychological and Brain Sciences! I am looking to earn savings to put towards an LMFT graduate program. I have a passion for helping others and love working with children specifically. I have experience caring for children of all ages and all ability levels. In 2020, I spent my time working as a homeschool preschool teacher for four toddlers in the Santa Barbara area, which was a ton of fun! I created session plans with early reading and math skills and art projects! Most recently, I worked as a Behavioral Technician with STAR of CA, working with children with autism. While I held this position, I also nannied for two families part-time. Working towards becoming an LMFT, my passion is helping others to live a healthy and happy life. I am energetic, active, and reliable and hope to help families who need extra assistance during this time. Thank you!
